2) I love meeting other Silk+Sonder fans in the wild! It's truly a fantastic journal (I use mine for daily journaling and select one of the prompts from their companion app every morning)
3) I'm very excited for our panel next week! And thank you for your kind words about my on-pause newsletter. I'm writing for myself for the first time in...ever (as an adult), and I know I'll return to the newsletter in a much better headspace when I'm ready.
Oh, I need to set up a form, LOL. But in the meantime, you can just DM on Substack or reply to a newsletter with a little bit of info about your family. Thanks!
Interesting. I wonder whether @tendollarlatte would feel less fearful if she knew her spending cap this year; her highest standard of living. Owning may be sooner than later.
This was such a fun/interesting read! My boyfriend and I are moving from NYC to a suburb next year, (rent will be SO MUCH CHEAPER - yay!), so many of our discussions right now revolve around money because we're going to do a whole budget reorganization. So l'm finding conversations about money/people's spending habits extra fascinating lately. LOVE the money motto of purchases being intentional! (Also - that is the cutest airpods case EVER!)
“What is the financial trait you most deplore in others? When people brag about how much money they have. I actually really enjoy talking about money, but it drives me crazy when people brag about the money they have, especially when it’s unearned (inherited) money.”
YESSSSSS! Thinking of all those terrible clickbait articles about “how I bought an NYC apartment 5 years after graduating college” and then at the very end it mentions that they got a huge inheritance or their parents made the down payment 😑😑😑
I love this series so much, so grateful to a mutual friend for helping me find your newsletter! It's truly opened my eyes in so many ways and I've loved getting to "know" other families and working mamas. Would love to be a feature on In Her Purse one day if you're ever looking for more contributors. :)
I subscribe to Ten Dollar Latte and love it! Fun to see Maria featured here!

I'm all about taking creative breaks! It's SO important and not discussed enough!
Thank you, Hitha!!
Love this series so much!
Thanks, Betsy! I love it too!
Hi! How would we submit for division of labor? I see the doc for home economics but now one for DoL? 😊
