"If I could plop it someplace with universal health care, paid-for quality childcare and education, parental leave, and diversity that is equitable, that sounds like someplace I want to live." ME TOO!
Lindsey, your little quips about the weather make my midwestern heart soar. Hopefully we stop getting whiplash from it, it would be great as my sinuses are screaming from being careless and opening windows when it was 70f last week in Wisconsin. Thanks for this series.
Totally agree! Also, I saw you asked for any recommendations to be featured on this series and shameless plug that I'd love to be featured! I've spent the past 4 years working at high-growth NYC startups and now am launching a party game company. My purse (totebag because NYC) is filled with product samples, my journal, and loyalty cards to my favorite coffee shops (just to name a few things!). I write on Substack about managing my own personal finance in NYC, from monthly resets to weekly ramblings on expenses, keeping up, and emotions around money
Could you elaborate more on "What you deserve and what you can afford have nothing to do with one another."? I am not sure that I understand, but I'd like to!

I felt the same way when I edited the interview, Laura!
Such a great series! Please share the podcasts she listens to, if able!
Would love to hear podcast recommendations
Ahhh love this series!
Thank you!!
I love these. Such a wonderful way to learn about a person. Thank you for inviting us to be a voyeur and thank you to Aja Evans.

Yeah, the midwest weather sounds just plain crazy!
It’s been a weird winter. First recorded tornado in February for Wisconsin.
Love this series! I think my education has to be my most prized possession too!
Love that, Maria! People should talk about that more!

Marie, I'm so sorry for my slow reply to this, but YES, I'd love that. DM me, and I'll get you all the info!
No worries! Thanks for the reply! I'll DM you now
Would love to know what podcasts about money she listens to 🙂

This is great and I love your reflections on life being hard with weather, mood, so much to do etc. Very much feel this in spring myself.
